What’s up gang?

So another action packed weekend has just passed and boy do I have stories. As you all know we played this weekend at The Compound in Fitchburg, MA. It has been quite a while since we have played there. So just like Northernlights, we were anxious to get on stage. This show was a last minute deal for us. Our best friends, Brookfield, called us earlier in the week and asked us if we would join the bill. I don’t know if you have ever witnessed a Binaural-Brookfield bill, but they are always fun. So of course we said yes. We were happy to get to the club and meet up with some long time fans that we haven’t seen in a while. And our fans must be doing their job there cause when we hit the stage the place was well occupied. We had a really fun set, as usual. After the show I heard that people were making bets if I was going to pass out during our last song ‘Good Times’ or not. I would like to say that I didn’t pass out but came very, very close. Brookfield hit the stage right after us and I swear they get better and better every time we see them.
So this is the time were I usually talk about our after gig midnight food run, but we came in different cars this time so could I cannot report on what Brandon attempted to order. But I believe I did hear that they were unable to find an open fast food chain this time. Oh well.
Now for the very exciting part of the weekend. Saturday night we had the opportunity to see a kick ass band play at Pearl St Nightclub in Northampton, MA. That band was The Black Crowes. Now you’re probably asking, “How the hell are the Black Crowes playing at Pearl St. and how the hell didn’t I hear about this.” Well they played under the name Mr. Crowes Garden. This was the bands original name back in the late 80’s. Wow, did we have the time of our lives. We were about 10 feet away from Chris Robinson the whole night. Well my ears are still ringing from the show today but it is still very worth it. We saw The Black Crowes in a club.
So that is about all the excitement from this weekend. We are working on booking more and more shows so keep checking into the website for updates. Thanks for all the support that you all give us. Check you later.

Hello everyone,

Wow, this is our first journal entry. Where can I start? Well last night’s show at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY was one to write about. This is one of our favorite places to play and we haven’t been there in over a year and a half. So it was nice to hit the stage last night and play some good old rock ‘n roll for the people of the Albany area. I don’t if you have ever been to Northern Lights in the winter months but it is roughly 4 degrees warmer inside as it is outside. But still worth it, cause about five minutes after being on stage under the lights it feels about 150 degrees on stage. Well, the band Savoir Hate asked us to play on this bill. These guys are some of the nicest guys we have ever met. We definitely have made some new friends after this night. So, every time we have played at Northern Lights it has been some of the shortest sets imaginable. Last night we had about a 45 minute set, so we didn’t know what to do with all that time. We thought about playing the same 15 minute set three times. But we opted against that in the end. So I believe that the highlight of the set was my explanation of why we renamed our song “Wicked” to “Jimmy Dean’s Wicked Awesome Sausage” for the night. I could go into detail but you had to be there to completely appreciate it. We also gave a shout out to one of our favorite bartenders, Jeff, which he will never forget. If you have never been to Northern Lights it is worth it just to go meet Jeff. And remember to tip that S.O.B. or he will kick your ass and take some names. Also during the show I somehow found a way to completely wrap myself in my own mic cable. I didn’t think that I was going to be able to get out of it or worse I thought I was going to fall on my face during the show. But needless to say the show was amazing and we made many new fans and especially new friends.
After the show we made our typical trek home and we had our midnight munchies. Well I don’t know if you have ever been in a car with Brandon when ordering Wendy’s at midnight but it takes him just under FOREVER to order. But don’t worry people he didn’t pass out before he got his food like one other time at a show. We also got ice cream for the ride home. Note to self, never let Brandon eat ice cream in the presence of a moving vehicle. Should have seen that coming.
In other news, we have been working on some new tunes. Hopefully we will have some demo samples up on the website soon so you can get a sneak peek at our stuff if you are unable to make it to a show.
Well I am a little distracted today ‘cause I am in the middle of the “Biker Build Off” marathon on the Discovery Channel as I type this entry. That could explain my random babbling I am doing. Well see-ya soon.
